Feel & sleep better.  Relax.  Find clarity.

Urbaca's licensed empaths will be on hand to provide energy balancing and help you learn to balance your own energy at our new Energy Care Clinic.

Energy Care is a gentle, non-invasive relaxation technique we share with people undergoing chemo and radiation, as well as a full spectrum of health challenges.   We teach excellent, easy self care and care for caregivers in a customizable spa setting.

Learn to adjust old habits, behaviors and beliefs as we search for creative, intuitive ways to make energetic progress in a safe and fun environment.

Urbaca's Energy Care Clinics build an accessible bridge between western and holistic medicine.  We aspire to teach mindful self-care with honesty, integrity, curiosity and humor.

Holiday Happenings In Our Urban Spa November 07 2015, 0 Comments

Did you know our hair apprentice program is one of the best and longest running in the Pacific Northwest?  There is an avalanche of training for hair stylists but relatively little for estheticians.  As far as we know, there is no formal apprentice program for skin care anywhere.

Until now.

Continuing Urbaca's long tradition as a teaching salon, in October 2015 Sherry implemented a Skintern program in our spa to provide advanced esthetic/service training for licensed estheticians.

The five week program provides a self-directed curriculum.  These Skinterns chose to learn hands on chakra energy balancing as well as the finer points of facials and peels.

What's the point?  We love to multitask.  Our Skintern program gives back while scouting out new talent.  Skinterns exchange work study for education.  And we bet you dollars to doughnuts, no one is teaching chakra energy balancing specifically for estheticians anywhere else.  : )  With the heightened energy of the holidays, relaxation is key.  We can help you manage your energy!  Give us a call 503.241.5030 to learn more!

PS.  Coming soon to an Urbaca near you...
